1. Legal Framework and Scope
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") govern all purchases made on The Halo Studio website (https://thehalostudio.com) and constitute a legally binding agreement between the consumer ("you") and KAL ECOMMERCE UK LTD ("we", "us", or "our").
These Terms are established in compliance with: the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights (for EU-based consumers), the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002, and other applicable international laws on commerce and data protection.

By accessing the website and/or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in their entirety. These Terms prevail over any other general or specific conditions not expressly accepted by us. We reserve the right to modify them at any time. Any changes will be published on the website and will apply to subsequent orders only.
4. Eligibility to Purchase
To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity required by your local legislation, and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal information, including a valid delivery address and payment method. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in cases of fraud, breach of these Terms, or for any legitimate reason at our sole discretion.
5. Products and Availability
All products offered for sale are described and presented as accurately as possible. However, we do not guarantee that product descriptions or any other content on the website are accurate, complete, or error-free. Products are available while stocks last. In the event of unavailability after an order is placed, the customer will be informed and refunded within 14 business days. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
6. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in the currency corresponding to your region and include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice but are guaranteed at the time of order confirmation. Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering via secure payment providers (Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Klarna, or others as available). We do not store your payment information and use encryption technology to secure transactions.
7. Order Confirmation
Once your order is placed, you will receive an automated confirmation email. This email serves as an acknowledgment of receipt, but not yet as final acceptance. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours, please check your spam folder or contact us at contact.thehalostudio@gmail.com.
8. Processing, Shipping and Delivery

Deliveries are made on business days only. Delays may occur during holiday periods or in cases of force majeure. We work with several third-party carriers and are not responsible for delays once the parcel is in transit.
9. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU, EU-based consumers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the delivery date, without having to provide a reason.
Important hygiene exception: Pursuant to Article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU and Article L221-28 paragraph 5 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does NOT apply to products that have been unsealed after delivery and which cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons.
All our hair extensions and hair-related products are sealed with a tamper-evident hygiene seal upon dispatch. Once this seal is broken or the inner protective packaging is opened, the product is deemed unsealed and the right of withdrawal is forfeited.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, products must therefore be returned:
- Within 14 days of delivery
- With the hygiene seal intact and packaging unopened
- In their original condition

10. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
All requests must be submitted by email to contact.thehalostudio@gmail.com with your full name, order number, and clear photographic evidence of the unopened packaging where applicable.
Strict no-return policy on opened products: Due to the intimate hygiene nature of hair extensions and their direct contact with the scalp and hair, no return, exchange or refund will be accepted once the product packaging has been opened or the hygiene seal has been broken, regardless of the reason invoked (color mismatch, dissatisfaction, change of mind, etc.). This policy complies with Article 16(e) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
Returns of unopened products: Returns of products with an intact hygiene seal and unopened original packaging are accepted within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with the right of withdrawal. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, unless the error or defect is attributable to The Halo Studio.
Defective or incorrect products: If you receive a defective or incorrect product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. Defective or incorrect products will be replaced or refunded in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, at our discretion.
Color matching service: To minimize color mismatch issues, we provide a free color advice service via our customer support team. We strongly encourage customers to use this service before purchase. Color dissatisfaction after the packaging has been opened is not eligible for refund or exchange.
11. Risk and Transfer of Ownership
Products remain our property until full payment is received. The risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon delivery. If a parcel is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will offer a replacement or full refund.
12. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery addresses. We cannot be held liable for undelivered parcels due to incorrect or incomplete information. No refund or reshipment will be made if the order has already been shipped.
13. Intellectual Property
All elements on the website (texts, images, logos, designs, graphics, etc.) are the intellectual property of KAL ECOMMERCE UK LTD and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Any unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
14. Data Protection

15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or products purchased, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss.

We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in the performance of our obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government decisions, labor disputes, or supply chain disruptions.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts of London, United Kingdom, shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory protective provisions applicable in your country of residence.
