At The Halo Studio, your satisfaction is our priority. Please read our refund policy carefully before submitting a request.

1. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds exclusively in the following cases: you return the product within 14 days of receiving it, and the product is in perfect condition — unused, unopened, with its hygiene seal fully intact, in its original packaging with all accessories and labels included.

⚠️ Strict no-refund policy on opened products: Due to the intimate hygiene nature of hair extensions and their direct contact with the scalp, hair and skin, no refund will be issued once the product packaging has been opened or the hygiene seal has been broken, regardless of the reason invoked (color mismatch, length, texture, difficulty of use, change of mind, etc.). This policy is enforced in accordance with Article 16(e) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

Once the return is validated and the product inspected, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

Please note: return shipping costs remain the customer's responsibility, unless the product is defective or an error was made on our part. Initial shipping fees are non-refundable. Please refer to our Return Policy for more information.

2. Damaged Items or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a defective product or one that does not match your order (wrong item, color, length, or contents), please notify our customer service within 72 hours of delivery.

To be eligible for a refund or express replacement, contact us at contact.thehalostudio@gmail.com with your full name and order number, clear photos of the product and packaging showing the issue (mandatory), and your preference: full refund or free express replacement.

Requests submitted without photos cannot be processed. Minor variations in shade, slight differences in length (+/- 1 cm), or natural texture variations inherent to synthetic fibers are not considered defects and do not qualify for refund.

3. Color Mismatch — Free Color Advice Service

The Halo Studio offers a free color matching service before any purchase. We strongly encourage all customers to use this service prior to placing an order. Color dissatisfaction once the hygiene seal has been broken is not a valid ground for refund. To request a color consultation, contact us at contact.thehalostudio@gmail.com with a natural-light photograph of your hair.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances:

  • Any product whose hygiene seal has been broken or whose packaging has been opened
  • Any product that has been worn, tried on, or used
  • Clearance, sale or final sale items (unless defective)
  • Personalized or custom-ordered products
  • Initial shipping fees (except in cases of defect or error on our part)
  • Items damaged by misuse, including exposure to heat above 180°C, chemical treatments, or improper care

5. Refund Processing Time

Once your refund is approved, please allow 5 to 10 business days for the funds to appear on your original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer. For payments made via Klarna or other installment providers, refunds are processed directly through their platform and may take additional time.
